Pulled the upper cover on my Dometic 3 way fridge today. FR installed one sleeve bearing circulation fan (which I have removed and will replace with 2 120mm 75cfm ball bearing (quiet) fans.

They did install an air deflector baffle above the condenser (good thing) but the rock wool insulation around the fridge and the walls is sparse. I'll be adding quite a bit more.

Better circulation in the outside cavity plus added insulation should go a long way toward making the Dometic run colder and maintain cold, even on hot sunny days.

I added an additional fan to mine last summer and it does appear to have helped keep it colder on those extra hot days.

I was disappointed in how cheap the Dometic supplied single fan was. Sleeve bearing fans should never be mounted horizontially, only vertically. The Dometic fan was not only mounted wrong, , it's too small.

The better the airflow across the condenser, the better the unit will cool.
