I'm looking to upgrade to a Mammoth Host with a triple slide. I tow a boat with my current setup. I noticed that you have to open the rear slide in order to gain access to the camper. I'm wondering how that is going to work with the boat hitched. Obviously when you get to your destination you will unhitch the boat but what about when you're traveling and want to use the bathroom or grab something to eat. I would like to hear from anyone who has a setup like this.

I viewed the Host Mamoth camper last month, the slide is close to 2' above the hitch, if the boat trailer and hitch are extended backward sufficiently you should have no clearance issues opening the slide.

My solution has worked for me for 12 plus years, 2.5" class 5 hitch and a custom length stinger with side chains bolted to sides of the hitch where it mounts to the frame.

Not flashy but it works well with no camper to boat or race trailer contact.

I have a triple slide Everest model and the rear slide in no way interferes with my boat when hitched up.

Truck and Camper Setup: The plan will utilize a 3500 GMC with a 11 or 12' TC with a full compliment of Torklift hitch components and tie downs. Stable loads if needed will be installed.

Should be no problem, take a look at the products offered by Tork Lift, they build exactly what you will need. Good luck with all that weight, I hope you have a gas engine. My 4x4,diesel, crew cab GMC could never handle that kind of a load. My available GVWR will be used up with just a large single slide and a bass boat.

I think you are over estimating how much a Host weighs compared to your 1140.
According to Truck camper magazine, the 1140db weighs 4,060lbs dry and 5236lbs wet.
The wet weight includes Arctic Fox 1140: dry weight, 4,060 pounds + 53 gallons fresh, 442 pounds + 6 gallon full hot water heater, 50 pounds + 2x 30-pound full propane tanks, 54 pounds + 2 batteries, 130 pounds + stuff, 500 pounds = 5,236 pounds.
My Everest weighs 3295lbs with no options. With my options, I weigh 4318lbs dry.
My wet weight is about the same as yours. I am a bachelor so I pack light, and travel with 20 gallons of water.
The boat adds 200lbs of tongue weight.
No matter how you look at it, our weights are nearly the same.
My payload is right is right a 5000lbs., the boat puts me over by 200lbs or so, if I don't fill my 45 gallon boat fuel tank it is even less.
You have a full wall slide, I don't. My kitchen and dinette slide are large but not full wall. The rear slide is a little smaller and shallower. TCM's weight for the 1140 is for a 6 cu.ft fridge, while I have an 8 cu.ft fridge.
If I had a new F-350 with a higher GVWR, I would be right at max weight or a little under with the boat in tow.
