Next winter, my wife and I (and two dogs AND one BMW motorcycle) plan on truck camping with an Artic Fox and duely set up. Can some of you 'weigh in' on your favorite spot to sit for a month in the southwest (Arizona, California, New Mexico). I have looked at some of the 'over 55' RV resorts and they seem pretty cool with pool and hot tubs, fitness centers, etc. I'm just not sure which, if any of them would be right for us. With my BMW GS, I motorcycle camp and that is kind of my 'head space' so a TC seems to be a minimalist kind of RV experience that would suit us. We are 55 and are looking for campgrounds that are attractive to retirees in their 50's and 60's.

Any recommendations?

Heard lots of great experiences on Big Bend. One of the nice places I want to visit soon.
