Howdy TCers! Have been researching now for about 4 months as to which TC to purchase. Originally looked at the Alpenlites but they went under. Like both the Eagle Cap and the Bigfoot, but since i live in Louisiana we have not been able to see up close any of them. Have an F-250 short-bed diesel 4x4 with tow package, 20" tires and spray-in bedliner. Need all help and advice you all can offer. Tojo smile.gif

Both of these brands, along with Host, are on our short list, too. Since you have a short bed pickup, your choices will be limited...and pay particular attention to weight since you don't have as much payload with a 3/4-ton truck as you would with a 1-ton with duallies.

Eagle Cap Owner's Forums

Bigfoot has an Owner's Forum, too, but -- unfortunately -- you must be a member of the BOCI before you can have access to it. sad.gif

Thanks Linda for the reply. We are gonna have to travel far and wide just to get one of these TC's, so have you any opinion as to which dealership has a good reputation..service will have to be done locally, so the factory warranty becomes the most important thing here. Bottom line in choosing a dealer will be price and reputation. thanks again and let me know if you guys decide and the reasons for the decision. thanks again, Tojo

Also you may want to look at Hallmark. We have bought from them before and they are great folks.

Hopefully, someone else will have opinions on dealerships...we're not that far down the road yet, since it's going to be a couple of years yet before we can get our camper, but it will probably end up being one of the dealers in Oregon.

I assume you've gone to both websites and used their dealer locator. Eagle Cap has a dealer in Sevierville, TN and one in Crystal River, FL. Bigfoot's dealer locator isn't as easy to use as Eagle Cap's since you have to search by Zip Code.

You might try emailing the manufature of Big Foot campers direct.

Try entering

Bigfoot campers

on the empty space bar and press enter.

Hope this helps.
