I'm in the St. Louis MO area, we camp across the state of Missouri, Mark Twain lake is one of our favorites also have camped for years in Illinois - near Carlysle lake. We have taken the truck camper to the Gulf Shores Alabama area, Pensacola and Ft. Myers Beach FL, Chattanooga TN. It's also going out this weekend to a private music festival about 100 miles south of the St. Louis area.

There is a lot of great camping areas in Manitoba as well, especially if you are into wilderness camping. We are from your neighbouring province, Ontario. We go to northern Ontario & northern Quebec camping & canoeing & really enjoy the wilderness. We have been talking about going to Manitoba, but other than drive the TransCanada on our way to BC a several years ago, haven't seen much of Manitoba. Do you have any suggestions for places to camp or scenic areas etc ? Organized campgrounds are not necessary. Thank you. |
