Truck Camper Magazine has kind of an interesting survey posed asking folks about their preferences when buying a new truck camper.

I was surprised to see much more interest in slide-ins for short beds than long beds and more interest in pop-ups than hard sides. Worth a look if you get a chance.

I'm a contributor to their e-magazine and I took the poll.

Mot surprising about short bed trucks (shorter than 8 foot in as much as the majority of trucks sold today are shorter beds.

Pop ups are easier to deal with, haul better on a truck and are easier to off season store (some fit in a normal garage (mine does), all plusses plus initial cost id less than a Hard side,.

Never see them until we got out West, then they are everywhere.
